Tin Mountain Hike

First hike of the year on the Tin Mine Trail. We are thankful to everyone who joined us. We had a very good group for our first hike of the year, even though we sadly didn't have our program director Felicia Konkler. The weather was very cooperative. It was a little cold at the start but warmed up very quickly. Luckily for us it was sunny for the whole hike. Not only was the weather beautiful, so was the trail. The Tin Mine Trail is a nice easy hike to start the year on. The trail is just a little under 5 miles with a gradual incline. The trail has some nice views throughout the hike. This year the area was a little wet which led to more puddles but not much that couldn't be walked around. Thankfully this also led to the many small brooks being very active. All together to a very successful start to the year. We already have our hike scheduled posted for anyone to see what's coming up. We are very excited about our upcoming hikes, some are newer ones as well as a few favorites. We hope to have a few more good adventures this year and are looking forward to everyone who will be able to join us.
